Leave my Rights by the Window

This house is not a happy home
This house is not a broken home
This house is not a HOME

Standing in the window watching all my tear drops fall
Living with my past pain
Walking through again and again this past regret

You have everything
You know all
Everything except me

Down to the ground
Bury me with the feelings
Save me in a box where my letters hide

Walk through the crowds
Looking for something familiar in some one
Catching broken glass in both hands

Skinned knees bring you up the hill
Bruise can be healed here you will see
You can be safe from the gales of life

Just give up you cuts
Let someone hold your bleeding hand
And the rains will fall softly

No longer will the winds leave you homeless
You can be safely taken
Smiles will show what was never before spoken
